Yo Gotti is one of the most successful rappers in the music industry today, and he’s making sure he lets everyone know with a $5 million spending spree for his 42nd birthday.
On Saturday (May 20), the Memphis rap mogul kickstarted his haul by showing off an icy new chain worth seven figures on Instagram, calling it his “biggest jewelry purchase” yet.
Designed by celebrity jeweler Avi & Co., the sparkling, diamond-encrusted chain boasts 122 karats across 61 stones, with each one certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America).
“Every year I spend at least a Million on my Birthday, Traveling Da World, Adding Cars To my Collection, Coppin my Favorite Watches, In Honor of Coming From Nothing,” Gotti wrote in his caption.

Prior to his latest purchase, the Art of Hustle the rapper posted videos of another diamond-encrusted CMG chain that he copped, along with a surprise appearance from his girlfriend Angela Simmons who could be seen modeling the chain.
“I spent a lot of money with a lot of jewelers but @wafijunlimited only 1 who showed up [Present emoji][Diamond emoji] #MyBirthdayAllMonth [100 emoji],” Gotti captioned the clips.

Yo Gotti’s pricey birthday presents all started when Angela Simmons gifted him a brand new Tesla last week as the pair ranging in the CMG leader’s special day together.
Video of the car’s unveiling showed the happy couple heading toward Gotti’s driveway, where a brand new Tesla Model X SUV with suicide doors awaited his entry.
Another video from Gotti’s birthday party showed both of them being surrounded by family and friends as a tall black birthday cake was presented to the rapper.
Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons have been enjoying their time together after they confirmed their long-rumored romance in January with a romantic New Year’s Eve photoshoot. Simmons later said she’s “happier than [she’s] ever been” while gushing over her new relationship on Instagram.
Gotti practically manifested the relationship by announcing his love for Simmons — the daughter of Run-DMC legend Rev Run — on his 2015 single “Down in the DM,” which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“And I just followed Angela (Simmons)/ Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons/ They like, ‘Damn Gotti, you bold’/ Fuck it, I’m gon’ let the world know (goals),” Gotti spit on the song.
He also mentioned Simmons on his 2017 track “Save It For Me,” which dropped shortly after she became engaged to Sutton Tennyson.
“Passed my number to Angela/ I thought I had her/ Her n-gga cuffed her, married, it made me madder/ I respect it, I’m moving on, but the truth is I want her badder/ Maybe me sayin’ her name made him move faster,” he rapped.
