Cambodia celebrates return of ‘priceless’ stolen Angkor jewelery

The culture ministry last month discretely received 77 pieces from the family of the late, disgraced British art dealer Douglas Latchford. Two 10th-century sculptures recently returned by the United States were also displayed on Friday. Dominic Williams, the British ambassador to Cambodia, tweeted that it was an “extraordinary privilege to see these previously stolen artifacts displayed in their ancestral home”. BOSTON (WHDH) – The front window of a jewelry store in Downtown Crossing was smashed early Sunday morning during a breaking and entering, police said. Around 1:23 am, a security guard reported hearing the glass of the front window and a display case shatter and called police.
